Overstock Plus is a Discount Outlet retailer of heavily discounted branded products of every shape and size along with discounted Homewares, Kitchenware, Gifts, Furniture, Stationery, Books, Toys, As Seen on TV items, Seasonal items and much more. We have earned a great following of loyal customers in our 1st store at the Belrose Super Centre on the Northern Beaches who love what we do!
We are excited to be opening our second store in August 2018 and are recruiting our Back of House team NOW!
You will need to be available from 23rd July 2018
Our Storeroom team members are a valued and essential part of our business, performing an important role of ensuring our shelves are full and enough stock is available to meet the demands of our customers in order to provide the BEST IN STORE experience. This role is diverse and varied. It encompasses:
Receiving and checking in deliveries in safe efficient and accurate manner from 3rd party suppliers or our own internal warehouse
Unpacking stock with pace and energy
Picking stock on a daily basis from our back of house storeroom to ensure the store is full at all times
Ordering stock in the correct quantities from our Sydney warehouse to meet demand in a timely manner
Damage and loss prevention and security of stock
This is a fast pace and physically demanding role and the successful applicant will need to be fit and have the ability to work alone or as part of a team, often under pressure to meet the demands of the store
Full skills training given.
This is a 5 day Monday to Friday position
